Four Poems of Praise

I. How can I keep from singing Your praise?
With all of my heart, for all of my days.
God, you're so beautifully awesome I see-
And wonder of wonders, you love even me!

II. How can I keep from shouting Your Name?
To spread Your glory, this is my aim.
To show to the nations the light of your Son
Your power, your love for everyone!

III. How can I hide this love inside?
Love so deep, Love so wide
I can't contain it, for it consumes me.
This glorious Love has set me free
This love of Christ for little old me!

IV. Jesus, I want to dance with You.
You've given me joy all the way through!
You've ransomed me, freed my soul
Cleansed my heart and made me whole.
Thank You for this love you bring
I'll dance for you, my precious King!


Not very good poetry, perhaps, but still dear to me. I wrote these one night when I was especially aware of the unwavering and all-surpassing Love of God.
