The Heavens Declare....

Gen. 1:16-18
And God made the two great lights—the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night—and the stars. And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.

Ps. 33:6
By the word of the Lord the heavens were made, and by the breath of his mouth all their host.

Ps. 147:4
He determines the number of the stars; he gives to all of them their names.

Ps. 19:1-2
The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork.
Day to day pours out speech, and night to night reveals knowledge.

Job 22:12
“Is not God high in the heavens? See the highest stars, how lofty they are!"

Ps. 8:3-4
When I look at your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, and the son of man that you care for him?

Ps. 57:10-11
Your steadfast love, O Lord , is great to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds. Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth!

Ps. 50:6

praise him, all you shining stars!

Ps. 89:5-6 Let the heavens praise your wonders, O Lord,
your faithfulness in the assembly of the holy ones! For who in the skies can be compared to the Lord? Who among the heavenly beings is like the Lord[?]

Deut. 33:27
“There is none like God... who rides through the heavens to your help, through the skies in his majesty."

Ps. 68:32-34
O kingdoms of the earth, sing to God;
sing praises to the Lord, to him who rides in the heavens, the ancient heavens;
behold, he sends out his voice, his mighty voice. Ascribe power to God,
whose majesty is over Israel, and whose power is in the skies.

1 Chronicles 16:31
Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice, and let them say among the nations, "The Lord reigns!"

Isa. 55:9 "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."

Ps. 136: 3-5 & 7-9
Give thanks to the Lord of lords,
for his steadfast love endures forever;
to him who alone does great wonders,
for his steadfast love endures forever;
to him who by understanding made the heavens,
for his steadfast love endures forever...
to him who made the great lights,
for his steadfast love endures forever;
the sun to rule over the day,
for his steadfast love endures forever;
the moon and stars to rule over the night,
for his steadfast love endures forever....

Ps. 108:5 Be exalted, O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth!

Last night at youth, we all sat outside under the stars. The teaching was on Psalm 19, and at the end we dispersed to look at the stars and spend some time alone with God. It was good. God is amazing!

Here's one more verse. This is from a paraphrase called the MESSAGE//REMIX. All the others were from the ESV (I'm legally obligated to tell you that).
Ps 19.6
...God's Word vaults across the skies
from sunrise to sunset,
Melting ice, scorching deserts,
warming hearts to faith.
