There once was a bean
Of a brilliant green,
Which once was seen
Gracing the Thanksgiving table so great.
Marvelous bean!
This humble bean,
O'er its jacket of green,
Had a buttery sheen
Which rendered us beings into a salivating state.
Wonderful bean!
This bean of green,
So long and lean,
Contains no caffeine
Nor any other chemical to cause the gain of weight.
Glorious bean!
This delicious bean
Graces many a cuisine,
From Mexican to Korean,
The bean is well-loved on international plates.
Splendiferous bean!
Everyone is keen
On this greenest of beans.
We salutate this queen
So worthy of this ode, which I humbly relate
Of the greeniest, beaniest Queen!
