Fridays...

I've been wanting to post something meaningful weekly on Fridays. Everything else, I think, is meaningful too, but I want this to be really consistent, like a weekly feature or something. Now that I actually have a blog, though, I can't decide what to say. Should I post a poem? Should I reflect briefly on an experience I had during the week, and its spiritual analogy? Should I just post a verse and a photo? Or should I talk about God's fingerprints, which I'm seeing everywhere these days?

I don't know.
Therefore, I'm postponing this till next week, in hopes that God will show me what to do.

We'll see what happens next Friday.
Though my weekend may be jam-packed with busy-ness, I hope yours is wonderful.
Grace to you and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

It would be a delight to read your thoughts on everyday life, Julia...what you see on the way to class, what you thought when you sat down to the supper table, what you feared today, why you were happy, what you hope for in the future. How rain feels and flowers smell to you. That could be poetry or prose...I'd love to see some of your poems, though, lucky me, I already get to :) It's fun seeing into your life. Your socks and such...you should post about your socks. Definitely.

Anyway, I know God will lead you...it's really special to think, though, that every part of life that we share about is "spiritual," in the sense that God created everthing, and cares about the details of our lives. The Holy God who breathed the Bible is the same God who cares about the sparrows. "[God] has given us richly all things for our enjoyment..." 1 Tim. 6:19?

As you can see, I'm trying to figure out the posting stuff myself, but that's just a thought.

Oh, and I really do want to hear more about your Labor Day weekend...Love you!

Cassie

P.s. Swirl is a beautiful word!

Thank you for telling me that, Cassie! I wasn't really sure that anyone would be interested in things like that. Your comment was an answer to prayer... God's Fingerprints it is!
Look for it next Friday, if I can wait that long to post them!
