I have a lot of strange dreams, but this one was different. I dreamed that, for Christmas, my family gave Daniel a pair of Alan Wonder Automatic Shoelaces. What? I've never heard of such a thing--until last night. Mom said (jokingly) that she thought it was a sign from God that I should invent them. There's no chance of that, but I thought maybe there was someone out there who would actually want to attempt this feat of engineering. Therefore, I'll tell you what I know about them.
Alan Wonder Automatic Shoelaces:
-are black
-are slightly thicker than normal shoelaces--presumably to accommodate the intricate machinery
-automatically retie themselves whenever they come unlaced
-contain some type of auto-sensor so that they know when to retie
-come in a retro-looking plastic package
-are fairly expensive
Alright, if anyone decides to study mechanical engineering, invent Alan Wonder Automatic Shoelaces, and become a multi-millionaire, give me the credit, okay?
